People frequently tell me: “You don’t look sick!” But I am - and like so many people with invisible illnesses, my struggles are hidden, and therefore hard for others to understand. I started the Invisible Stories project to change that. My hope is to help people see and be seen.
The Invisible Stories Project is a collection of 30 stories about the unseen struggles in people’s lives. All stories are under 10minutes and designed to give the listener a snapshot - a window, not the whole house.
This project is an independent fundraiser for the Global Lyme Alliance. One of the major difficulties with Lyme is the poor diagnostic testing and lack of research into effective treatments, which leaves many sufferers with few and confusing options. Any amount you can give would be greatly appreciated. I urge you, if you are moved by these stories, to make a gift to the Global Lyme Alliance.
What is this project all about anyway?!
